Car Keeper

Sunday evening, we were able to spend some time in the backyard – a great time was had by all.

when we came in to dry off, Boden kept asking for the “Car Keeper”… at this stage, he’s speaking so much more and catching on to so much, and I usually do an okay job of interpreting what he says.

Car Keeper?

I had nothing.

Mommy: “Do you want your container that holds your cars?”
Bo: “Car Keeper”
Mommy: “Carbon Paper?”
Bo: “Car Keeper”
Mommy: “Carburetor?”
Bo: “Car Keeper”
Mommy: “Car Seater?”
Bo: “Car Keeper”

finally – he walked by the table and saw the laptop – “Car Keeper!”
Mommy: “Oh, Computer?”
Bo: “Yes! Car Keeper! Car Keeper! Please?”

so we played on the Car Keeper for the next 90 minutes or so. seriously.

for parents of toddlers/preschoolers: my SIL told me about this awesome website that schools use: Starfall

Parts of it are free, and that’s plenty enough for Bo to play and play and play. He and Gma Sue typically play around on it for at least an hour every weekday morning.

Bo even prefers it to his iPad…. shocking, i know!

so check out Stafall on your own Car Keeper – i hope you enjoy it as much as we do!

  1. interesting. i’ll have to look at this. i’d be uber surprised if it took Aylen away from his current obsession LEGOS. The little kind. The kind that say 5 and up. Because Russ thought he was ready! omg. katie b.
