Ponderment – 2016
well, yesterday, we witnessed Democracy in action. I tried to explain it to Boden. The best I could do was say the Pledge of Allegiance with him. He got it.
as I check on him one last time before I went to bed, I tucked him in tight and thought about how the next time we hit this electoral merry-go-round, he’ll be SIX!
then i thought back four years ago – when AJ and I were just two young and carefree newlyweds, finding our way through a bi-partisan household – without the ability to even fathom where we would be today.
here’s to four (and many more) years of Fun Times With The Beckers.
